JOB TITLE: MULTIPLE POSITIONS

We are a Central Alberta based oil and gas pipeline and facility contractor currently hiring for multiple positions. The successful candidates will answer directly to specific project construction supervisors. PIPEFITTER APPRENTICE 

Core Responsibilities:

• Assemble piping spools, including, valves, supports, gauges and other piping system related hardware • Expected to perform responsibilities in shop and field environments

• Organize and execute piping hydro-tests, utilizing required equipment

• Measure, cut and thread piping as required

• Hydro testing and painting

• Skid steer operation

• Work with client representatives, co-workers, subcontractors, quality control and regulatory representatives • Read and red-line construction drawings (blue prints, Isometrics, GA’s, P&ID’s, etc.) A BONUS!

HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

Core Responsibilities:

• Operate specified heavy equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures

• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks

• Maintain heavy equipment as scheduled and/or required

• Advise the Construction Supervisor of any requirements for maintenance or repairs

• Participate in routine maintenance and maintain safety logs

• Practice workplace safety

LABOURER 

Core Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform responsibilities in field environments

• Support the execution of piping hydro-tests

• Support the execution of pipeline coating

• Cleaning and maintaining of company vehicles, tools and equipment

• Support and execute loading, unloading, identifying and delivering materials and equipment

• Execute assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner

• Ask required questions and take appropriate direction

WELDERS HELPER 

Core Responsibilities:

• Assist welder to perform required pipeline and facility related tasks

• Expected to perform responsibilities in field environments

• Cleaning and maintaining of company vehicles, tools and equipment

• Execute assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner

• Ask required questions and take appropriate direction

PIPELINE COATING TECH 

Core Responsibilities:

• Execute specified procedures relating to manufacturer coating practices

• Participate in project pre-job specific coating training

• Participate in pre-job training in accordance with project specific coating specifications

• Follow company-specific coating requirements

• Follow company-specific safety and quality control procedures

• Maintain a mature and professional relationship with the customer and customer representatives, co-workers, subcontractors. Quality control and regulatory representatives.

HEAVY EQUIPMENT TRUCK DRIVER

Core Responsibilities:

• Moving heavy equipment throughout Western Canada

• Maintain a positive safety performance and professional attitude

• Comply with legislation in regards to safe operation and health and safety

• Maintain daily driver’s logs, pre-trip inspection logs and other necessary paperwork

• Maintain truck and trailer cleanliness and maintenance

Required Training / Qualifications may include, but are not limited to:

• H2S

• First Aid

• CSTS / CSO

• Global Ground Disturbance

• TDG

• Previous Experience
